The Annual Olympic District Night Hike takes place each year in November, it is a 10-mile hike through the night at beautiful Camp Thunderbird!

Challenge your Scouts BSA and Venturing Scouts with the 10 Challenge Stations throughout the hike. And don't worry, dinner and breakfast are provided.

We are recommending that our participating units stay overnight to avoid late night/early morning driving.

Unit must have required 2-deep leadership at all times.

Under New Guide to Safe Scouting guidelines, all adults participating overnight with youth must be a BSA registered adult and have current Youth Protection Training.

Units will select a time window at registration, and will be given a start time within that window once the entire group arrives and is ready to start.

Reserved time slots do not guarantee a start time and is for spacing only. Once the entire group is checked and ready to go, the group will be placed in a cue for their start time.

Additional instructions will be provided about week prior.

MUST BRING:
♦ Day Pack, Hiking Boots and all components of the backpacking 10 essentials.
♦ Complete set of EXTRA clothes
♦ Pack Checks will be made prior to heading up the trail
♦ Hike will occur no matter the weather condition, Be Prepared.

Troops will have the opportunity to camp on site. Please select the option to Camp overnight. You will recieve your campsite assignment at check-in.
